Senior Manager Commercial Learning & Development
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Learning and Development, the Sr. Manager Commercial Learning and Development will build and implement the sales training program focused on ensuring sales success. Our training function will use in-depth clinical and sales knowledge, and general field-related experience, specific product, and marketplace knowledge, to facilitate sales and clinical education training sessions for the Commercial team.
Responsibilities:
• You will collaborate with Commercial leadership to develop competency-based training to accelerate learning and lead a high-performing commercial team
• Develop, procures, and implements training to support new hire development, ongoing product/industry knowledge, and selling skills
• Implement adult learning principles to engage learners and embed new information/skills
• Maintains a PRC-approved new hire training curriculum (e.g., label updates, POA workshops)
• Provide materials and support for product launch and presentations at conferences or sales meetings
• Integrate a compliance mindset (e.g., Compliance GSP) into training and demonstrate CSL core values
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years' experience in several of the following: sales, sales management, sales training, curriculum development within the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
• Vendor management experience
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and distance-learning technology
• Knowledge of different selling skills, models, and platforms
• This is an individual contributor role
The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $140K - $160K. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for you is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies, and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role will also include sales incentive compensation and may include equity.
