The
Sr. Manager, Analytics & Insights, is primarily responsible for leading the development and scaling of a
trusted data and analytics foundation for Global Supply Chain. This role enables data-driven decision-making across S&OP, S&OE, and execution by delivering standardized analytics, scalable reporting, and actionable insights aligned to business priorities.
Specifics include:
- Build and govern the data foundation: Define data models, ownership, and quality standards to enable a single source of truth across supply chain
- Establish analytics frameworks: Standardize reporting logic and analytics methodologies for forecast performance, inventory, service, and execution
- Deliver insights and visualization: Develop dashboards and tools that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for operational and executive decision-making
- Enable planning and execution: Support S&OP and S&OE processes with consistent, scalable analytics and reporting
- Partner with the business: Translate business needs into analytics solutions that drive outcomes (e.g., launches, recovery plans, network decisions)
- Drive automation and scalability: Reduce manual reporting through automation; drive efficiency through analytics
- Lead and develop talent: Build a high-performing analytics team and drive adoption of self-service tools
- Oversee multiple data analysis and visualization projects, ensuring project goals are met through self-directed work and supervision.
- Apply data science techniques such as machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to extract insights.
This role is critical to advancing a
data-driven, integrated supply chain-shifting from fragmented, manual reporting to standardized, automated, and insight-led decision-making.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
- Location: Onsite
- Travel Requirements: Up to 20%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:- Proven ability to translate complex data into business insights and decisions
- Experience with data platforms and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in driving analytics initiatives at scale.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with ambiguity and high learning agility.
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with a breadth and variety of internal and external resources.
- Strong experience in data analytics, visualization, and data engineering within a supply chain or operations environment.
- Data Science experience.
