Responsibilities:
- Assist with development and implementation of reimbursement strategies and programs to ensure coverage across all lines of business and benefits.
- Provides reimbursement-related advice to product development teams, marketing, sales, and customer service.
- Leads in addressing customer concerns related to coverage and cost recovery, developing plans to address in season and removing barriers to utilization for potential new customers.
- Works closely with policy, sales and medical staff to evaluate the economic impact of the use of therapies/products on payers, including the government.
- Provide education on reimbursement/pricing to Sales, HCPs and customers.
- Proactively identifies payer opportunities and implements programs to help increase utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline
- 7+ years' pharmaceutical industry experience in reimbursement or case management
- Strong understanding of relevant market reimbursement policy
- A proven track record of successful account management and executing national strategies.
- Experience in billing/coding for Medical and drug benefit.
- Experience in vaccine reimbursement
- AAPC coding courses/ or equivalent a plus
