Full Job Description
This role serves as the technology and AI strategist for an assigned legal practice area, partnering with practice leadership to define how technology can transform how the practice operates - while maintaining hands-on delivery ownership and accountability for practice area technology outcomes.

What you'll do in your role.
  • Develops complex applications and technical solutions using low code, no code, and AI tools to deliver strategic outcomes for the assigned practice area; brings a proactive point of view on where emerging technology can transform practice operations - not just responding to known problems - to practice leadership. Owns adoption outcomes; tracks utilization and surfaces barriers to leadership.
  • Develops a deep understanding of how Legal professionals work, where friction lives, and what outcomes matter most to practice leadership; creates a requirements framework that addresses both known friction points and longer-term strategic outcomes. Maintains trusted relationships at the practice lead level and ensures practice priorities are visible in the Legal Ops technology roadmap.
  • Partners with IT, Legal Ops, and external vendors to support practice area technology needs; proactively engages practice area Legal professionals to surface opportunities they may not have articulated; serves as the connective tissue between Legal Ops infrastructure and the day-to-day realities of the practice.
  • Owns the full technology roadmap for the assigned practice area - defining priorities, sequencing initiatives, managing timelines, and coordinating resources; connects practice area investment decisions to the broader Legal Ops technology strategy; delivers their technical solutions on time while ensuring there is clear scope, measurable outcomes, and appropriate stakeholder visibility.


The experience you'll bring.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 4-7 years Consulting and legal operations experience. (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code development platforms and workflow automation tools, with the ability to design and iterate on solutions without heavy reliance on engineering resources (Required)
  • 4-7 years Technical Program Management. Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, with a track record of translating ambiguous business needs into structured, executable plans (Preferred)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required
  • AI Tools and Strategy: Hands-on experience using AI assistants and LLM-based tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate analysis, drafting, and workflow design.
  • Low Code/No Code Development: Proficiency with platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), or comparable tools.

  • Legal Technology Platforms: Experience with legal technology platforms, including matter management, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and document management systems (DMS).

Total Target Cash Earnings Opportunity: $135,700 - $244,720

National Base Pay Range: $118,000 - $212,800
