Data Architect

What is in it for you?

We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a modern Health Data Platform on Microsoft Fabric & Azure.

This role will drive end-to-end architecture, data quality frameworks, and AI-enabled automation to support clinical, research, and analytics use cases.

Responsibilities: -
• Define end-to-end architecture for data ingestion, transformation, and processing on Microsoft Fabric & Azure
• Design scalable, metadata-driven ingestion and data quality frameworks
• Implement Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using Lakehouse concepts
• Architect ingestion for multimodal healthcare data (HL7, FHIR, EHR, DICOM, Claims)
• Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PHI/PII)
• Drive AI-enabled data quality and intelligent automation (agents, anomaly detection)
• Lead architecture reviews, standards, and best practices adoption
• Collaborate with business, clinical, and research stakeholders
• Mentor engineering teams and guide delivery execution

Required Qualifications
• 14+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (1+ year) and Azure data platforms
• Strong expertise in Databricks / Spark / Python (5+ years)
• Experience with event-driven architecture (Event Hub / Kafka)
• Deep knowledge of Lakehouse, Medallion architecture, metadata-driven design
• Strong understanding of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)
• Proven experience with Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks Microsoft Fabric Expertise
• Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory (Pipelines), Notebooks
• End-to-end Fabric-native architecture design
• Integration with Purview, ADLS, Event Hub
• Workload optimization, monitoring, and cost management

Certifications (Required / Preferred)
• DP-600 - Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (Required)
• AZ-305 - Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Preferred)
• DP-203 / AI-102 (Nice to have)

Preferred
• Experience with clinical/research datasets
• AI-driven data quality or observability tools
• Client-facing / RFP solution leadership
