We are currently seeking a Sr Java Developer (FTE / Hybrid) to join our team in San Leandro, California (US-CA), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Work with stakeholders to gather the requirements
• Develop, test and deploy APIs
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented Java Code
• Cooperating with the front-end developer in the process of integrating the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services
• Producing, maintaining, and modifying REST APIs
• Ensuring APIS is developed using industry standard best practices
• Fixing any issues or bugs that arise

Requirements for this role include:

• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience with web application development
• 10+ years of Java development experience
• 5 + years of Java Micro Services experience
• 8+ years of Spring/Spring Boot experience
• 5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
• 2 + years of cloud computing experience/PCF/Azure/AWS
• 2+ years of prior experience working in banking domain.
• 4+ years of MQ Series or Kafka Messaging experience
• 4+ years relational database management system (RDBMS) experience
• 2+ years of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• 3+ years of experience with BDD development.
• 1+ year of Splunk log monitoring , APS tools like NewRelic, Splunk, AppDynamics, Elastic Stack etc.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $104,400.00 to $156,600.00. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
