Honeywell is driving large-scale digital transformation across Aerospace & Defense through the deployment of SAP S/4HANA as our next-generation ERP platform. We are seeking a SAP S/4 Technical Delivery Lead to drive the end-to-end technical execution of global S/4 programs across complex, regulated environments.

This leader will be accountable for technical architecture, RICEFW delivery, integration strategy, platform enablement, data governance, and secure deployment execution across multi-wave global rollouts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Technical Program Leadership
  • Own end-to-end SAP S/4 technical delivery across global deployments and transformation initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams including ABAP, integration, data, security, and basis.
  • Establish and enforce S/4 technical standards, development governance, and quality controls.
  • Partner with functional leads to ensure scalable, compliant, and performant solutions.

RICEFW & Custom Development
  • Govern design, build, testing, and deployment of all RICEFW objects.
  • Ensure clean-core principles and minimize custom code footprint.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
  • Manage object estimation, sprint planning, and release alignment.

ABAP & Development Framework
  • Deep oversight of ABAP (OO ABAP, CDS views, enhancements, BADIs, user exits).
  • Drive transition from ECC custom objects to S/4 compliant architecture.
  • Implement modern development frameworks leveraging RESTful ABAP programming model (RAP) where applicable.

SAP BTP & Extension Strategy
  • Define and execute SAP BTP extension architecture strategy.
  • Lead development of side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
  • Manage integration using CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
  • Ensure API-first, event-driven architecture alignment.

Fiori & UX Enablement
  • Lead Fiori app deployment, customization, and launchpad governance.
  • Oversee UI5 development standards.
  • Ensure role-based UX aligned with security and compliance requirements.

Data & Migration Strategy
  • Oversee S/4 data migration framework including mock loads, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.
  • Define data cleansing, harmonization, and transformation strategy.
  • Collaborate with business data owners to ensure data quality and readiness.

Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Partner with enterprise MDM teams to align governance models.
  • Ensure integration between S/4 and enterprise MDM platforms.
  • Drive material, customer, vendor, and finance master data standardization.

Security & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell cybersecurity and internal controls standards.
  • Govern role design, SoD mitigation, and GRC integration.
  • Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance (ITGCs, SOX).

Transport & Release Management
  • Own SAP transport landscape strategy (Dev → QA → Pre-Prod → Prod).
  • Oversee ChaRM / Solution Manager transport workflows.
  • Ensure environment stability and structured release governance.
  • Manage retrofit strategy for parallel landscapes.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 or more years SAP technical experience.
  • 3 or more full lifecycle SAP implementations (at least 1 S/4HANA).
  • 5 or more years leading global technical teams.

Must-Have Technical Expertise
  • Deep RICEFW governance experience.
  • Advanced ABAP (OO, CDS, enhancements, BADIs).
  • SAP BTP (CPI, side-by-side extensions, APIs).
  • SAP Fiori/UI5.
  • SAP Data Migration tools (LTMC, Migration Cockpit, BODS, Syniti, etc.).
  • SAP Security & GRC concepts.
  • Transport Management & ChaRM.
  • Integration architecture (IDocs, APIs, OData, middleware).

WE VALUE
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense or highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in carve-outs, divestitures, or large enterprise transformations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Central Finance.
  • Understanding of SAP clean-core strategy.
  • Experience managing offshore development teams.
