Sr. IT Administrator - Infrastructure Cyber Security Analyst

This is a hands-on operational role with 24x7x365 on-call responsibilities, maintaining SLAs for the infrastructure supporting Niagara's critical business applications hosted in the datacenters and remote manufacturing facilities.
Essential Functions
  • Maintain the integrity of the infrastructure hardware as needed to meet SLAs.
  • Implement and monitor security policies & procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, configurations, and logs / Assist with network MAC (moves, adds, changes)
  • Monitor connectivity and performance of system performance at remote sites.
  • Utilize and monitor networking tools (Fluke, NetFlow, Prime, SolarWinds, OEM) to maintain SLA's.
  • Update all documentation, execute firmware and patch deployment to all devices.
  • Maintain Event logs, review as needed for root cause analysis.

    • 6 Years - Experience in monitoring/supporting core infrastructure such as: MFA both Cisco DUO and Microsoft Authenticator, Specops Password Policies (breeched and duplicate passwords), On Prem Active Directory (Microsoft), Microsoft Entra/Azure Cloud (enterprise applications, email, sign-in logs), OS (operating system) vulnerabilities (patches & updates)
    • 6 Years - Experience in reviewing/analyzing audit trails, logs, events for Darktrace, Mimecast, Sophos MTR, QRadar, Data Exfiltration, Fluke, NetFlow, Prime, SolarWinds, OEM
    • 3 Years - Experience managing projects

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience and background in the relevant technologies. The ability to stay abreast of new technologies and adapt / apply them to changing business environments. Includes the ability to educate oneself on technologies through not only formal training, but self-study and research. Includes the ability to foster strong vendor and partner relationships.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze complex network issues quickly; Emphasis on troubleshooting ability and problem resolution for application issues, network issues and virus mitigation.
  • Project Management Skills, Time-Management Skills and Documentation Skill: The ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously. Includes information organizational skills, design drawing and documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to all levels of technical staff, end-user communities, and various levels of management.
