Job description:

Sr. Inventory Control Manager

Manages and monitors performance of regional multi-site Logistics Centers Inventory Control (IC) teams in support of company goals for inventory accuracy and shrink.  Manage customer service relationship of the regional LC(s) through collaboration with LC Management, Corp IC, Loss Prevention and Freight Carriers to research and resolve customer and vendor issues.  Implement and maintain policies and procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, safety and quality of work of regional IC team(s). Support and manage execution of all policies and procedures related to product flow and inventory accuracy within the regional Logistic Center(s).  Provide oversight, training and development of regional Logistic Center(s) IC Managers and IC staff.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

   Directs the planning, execution and oversight of cycle counts, physical inventory counts (15%)

   Research of inventory discrepancies and develop risk management programs for compliance (10%)

   Directs Day to Day oversight of regional multi-site Inventory Control team(s) (25%)

  Manage customer service relationship of the regional LC(s) to implement inventory mitigation policies/practices (15%)

 Collaborate with LC Management on process improvement and policy/procedure enhancements (10%)

 Report creation and validation of inventory management accuracy/quality (10%)

 Manages administrative aspects of multi-site LC teams (15%)

 Other Duties & Responsibilities:

 Qualifications:

Experience:

 8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience.

 3 to 5 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

 Education & Certifications:

  Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  Bachelor's Degree required.

  Other Education / Certifications: CPIM - Certified Production and Inventory Management preferred

 Working Conditions:

 Distribution center environment may include exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions

 Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

On-call availability required as necessary.

 Professional, office environment.

 Some travel is required.
