Honeywell International Inc. is seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity as a Sr. I&C Specialist for Compliance Sustainment reporting to the Sr. Director Integrity and Compliance and Global Compliance Assurance Leader within Honeywell's Compliance Center of Excellence. The Compliance Assurance & Sustainment program involves monitoring compliance-related activity both within the Compliance teams and by business or functional personnel throughout Honeywell's business operations. The incumbent will be engaged in a wide range of compliance assurance activities specifically focused on ensuring compliance with U.S. laws and regulations for anti -corruption, procurement, export, trade sanctions, and anti-money laundering etc and enhancing the function's overall compliance program. The role would involve specific areas of testing and monitoring in the areas above.

You will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardizing and automating compliance sustainment assessments across countries, businesses, and legal entities
  • Performing transaction testing and business data analysis
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive mapping of compliance risks and existing control measures to be tested under the program
  • Attaining and applying knowledge of business systems and control systems that house relevant data related to compliance activities
  • Designing, updating, and implementing testing methods to measure the effectiveness of compliance controls
  • Designing, updating, and communicating a risk assessment framework to illustrate the nature and severity of vulnerabilities, consistent with firmwide enterprise risk management frameworks
  • Actively participating in developing and implementing sustainable corrective actions arising from compliance assurance evaluations, as well as other investigations and audits
  • Developing metrics, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators based on the compliance assessments
  • Proactively identifying, evaluating, and managing export, sanctions risks and other risks in a way that enables Honeywell to deliver sustainable business growth
  • Supporting the development of policies, procedures, and training materials

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 5 years within compliance, risk, or internal audit function at a multinational company on compliance assurance, compliance sustainment or compliance monitoring and testing
  • Minimum of 3 years of regulatory areas in Export Controls or Trade Sanctions
  • Experience with MS Office, Tableau, Power BI, or ERP tools such as (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience with data analytics, metrics reporting, key performance indicators, key risk indicators
  • Due to U.S. export control laws, must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen and or U.S. Permanent Resident)

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
