Full Job Description
The Sr. Instock Manager will own strategies to drive supply chain efficiencies and maximize sales, margin, and turns. This is a critical role helping us build, manage, and optimize a complex procurement system-with a growing emphasis on re-imagining workflows for automation and leveraging Generative AI to increase productivity. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

They must be highly organized, self-starting, highly analytical, and thrive in a high-energy environment. While supply chain and operations experience is valued, we are equally open to candidates with strong business intelligence, data engineering, or advanced analytics backgrounds who bring a builder mindset and can develop new tools and automated solutions. You will be responsible for driving large and unique programs, coordinating with partner teams on scalable improvements, and building optimal inventory strategies.

Key areas of focus include driving improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency, improving purchasing automation, and reducing input costs. The Sr. Instock Manager will also be responsible for developing new tools and automated workflows, identifying defects, reducing waste, and improving supply chain effectiveness through data-driven innovation. This role enables you to "hit the ground running" and make transformational impact on how we manage in-stock and cost in one of the most exciting businesses.

The position requires an individual with strong analytical capabilities who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization.

Key job responsibilities

- Improve key Instock metrics, such as Availability and Inventory Health

- Identify gaps and implement scalable solutions using automation and GenAI tools

- Re-imagine existing manual workflows and design automated processes that reduce repetitive work and increase team productivity

- Leverage Generative AI to build intelligent reporting, forecasting enhancements, and decision-support tools

- Develop and deploy new tools (dashboards, scripts, pipelines) that drive operational efficiency and scalability

- Develop understanding of the various sourcing channels and implement best practices to optimize sourcing

- Develop and implement audit mechanisms to proactively identify defects and drive defect reduction

- Manage and maintain cloud-based tools, including back-end configuration, data pipelines, and integration with AWS services

- Partner with engineering and BI teams to translate business needs into scaled technical solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience

- Experience with SQL

- 5+ years of with Excel experience

- Experience working with complex data sets

- Experience communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Quick, OpenSearch, DynamoDB and Bedrock.
