POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
McCallie Associates, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is accepting applications for a Senior Information Security Analyst to lead cybersecurity engineering and analysis support for U.S. Space Force missile warning and space sensing systems at our Boulder, Colorado location. This role provides senior cybersecurity expertise to Government Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) and System Security Control Assessors (SSCAs), supporting the cybersecurity posture of mission-critical satellite and ground systems that detect, track, and characterize global missile threats.
This position will work directly with Government cybersecurity leadership to assess engineering design architectures, conduct system security engineering reviews, support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, and contribute to the cybersecurity assurance of next-generation overhead persistent infrared and missile warning ground systems.
- Provide senior cybersecurity engineering and analysis support to Space Force ISSMs and SSCAs for missile warning and space sensing programs
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities including system categorization, security control selection, implementation review, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring
- Review system security engineering documentation including System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and security authorization packages
- Support cybersecurity / system engineering control architecture reviews; provide compliance support during contractor security evaluations
- Contribute to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Task Change Proposals (TCPs), and Configuration Change Board (CCB) activities from a cybersecurity perspective
- Support cybersecurity test and evaluation including developmental and operational cyber testing
- Engage with Other Government Agencies (OGAs) during security evaluations of engineering design architectures and solutions
- Prepare cybersecurity briefings, technical assessments, and risk reports for senior Government audiences
This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity / information security experience, including significant experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community systems
- DoD 8570.01-M / 8140 IAT Level III or IAM Level II/III certification at start of employment (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP+, CCSP, or GSLC)
- Demonstrated experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes per NIST SP 800-37
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 security controls in DoD or IC environments
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief senior Government cybersecurity leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a closely related discipline
- Prior cybersecurity support to space, missile, or sensor systems acquisition programs
- Familiarity with TOR-2007 (8546)-6018 information assurance practices for Next-Gen OPIR, SBIRS, and Weather programs
- Experience with classified system accreditation, cross-domain solutions, or SCI system security
- Direct prior support to SSC/SN, SMC, or predecessor Space Force / Air Force space organizations
Expected salary range: $185,000 to $210,000 per year
