This is a hybrid position, requiring team members to work onsite three days per week at NSF's headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, while offering flexibility to work the remainder of the week remotely.

Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach on employee relations, performance management, talent decisions, compensation, and organizational effectiveness
- Partner with business leaders to align workforce strategies with business objectives and drive organizational performance
- Lead and support talent initiatives focused on engagement, retention, succession planning, and employee development
- Champion change management efforts by helping leaders navigate organizational transformation and growth
- Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development
- Foster a culture of accountability, coaching, continuous improvement, and employee development
- Guide leaders through complex employee relations situations while ensuring consistency and compliance with policies and employment practices
- Identify, share, and implement HR best practices across teams and functions
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong performance management, employee relations, and coaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise leaders at multiple organizational levels
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategies with organizational goals
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while balancing strategic priorities and day-to-day HR support
- A continuous improvement mindset with the courage to challenge the status quo and recommend innovative solutions
- Proven success building trusted partnerships with leaders and employees
