Job Title: Sr. Human Resources Business Partner

Location(s): Tustin, CA - Onsite

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000

About this position:

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. As a Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP), you will serve as a strategic advisor and influential partner to senior leadership, providing expert HR guidance that supports Advantech's goals in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. This hands-on role requires a high level of business acumen, the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, and a passion for driving results through people.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting sales organizations, managing multi-state employee groups, and demonstrated success in aligning people strategies with business priorities. This is a full-time onsite position with periodic travel required.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, particularly within sales and client-facing business units, driving people strategies that enable performance and business success
  • Lead workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational design across multi-state locations
  • Partner closely with department heads and managers on employee relations, performance management, team effectiveness, and manager coaching
  • Working with the Compensation COE, oversee compensation reviews, pay structure design, job leveling, and benchmarking analysis
  • Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (COEs) and cross-functional business leaders to deliver integrated, tailored HR solutions across all employee lifecycle stages
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop actionable insights and proactive solutions
  • Maintain deep knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring compliance
  • Lead change management and engagement initiatives that support culture and inclusion efforts
  • Ensure timely, proactive communication with internal customer groups on HR matters and assigned projects


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience supporting multi-state and/or sales organizations.
  • Proven experience in both strategic HR planning and operational execution.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills with leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and data skills; comfortable working with complex HRIS/reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.
  • Willingness to travel periodically as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or MBA in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience supporting multi-state and/or sales organizations.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification.
