Full Job Description
The Opportunity

As the Senior HRIS and Process Specialist, you will serve as a senior project lead and functional subject matter expert supporting the review, selection, implementation, testing, and stabilization of a new HRIS platform for Jerritt Canyon. This full-time, exempt, fixed-term assignment will support the full project lifecycle, including current-state process review, requirements gathering, system and workflow design support, data readiness, configuration support, integrations coordination, user acceptance testing, implementation, data validation, and post-go-live stabilization. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with extensive HRIS implementation experience who can bridge system functionality, data integrity, compliance requirements, and practical HR process design. The position is remote and Nevada-based, with periodic travel to the Jerritt Canyon site or other company locations as needed to support implementation activities, stakeholder engagement, training, testing, and project completion.

Responsibilities
  • Support the review, evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new HRIS platform aligned with organizational needs and future workforce growth.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, vendors, and site stakeholders to define requirements, assess workflows, and support system configuration decisions.
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, issue tracking, documentation, and stakeholder communications related to HRIS implementation.
  • Support change management, training preparation, and user readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of the new system.
  • Lead or support data review, cleansing, mapping, conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure accurate employee records and successful system migration.
  • Ensure HR data, personnel records, workflows, and documentation practices support compliance with company policy and applicable employment, payroll, benefits, and records retention requirements.
  • Develop and execute data testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation validation processes to confirm system accuracy and readiness.
  • Identify data quality issues, process gaps, and compliance risks, and recommend practical solutions before implementation is finalized.
  • Review current HR processes and recommend streamlined workflows that improve consistency, accuracy, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Document standard operating procedures, process maps, system guides, and training resources to support long-term HRIS administration.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to align onboarding, employee data changes, benefits, payroll interfaces, reporting, employee records, and compliance processes with the new HRIS environment.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, status updates, testing records, issue logs, and completion evidence throughout the assignment.

  • Nevada-based remote work eligibility required; ability to travel to the Jerritt Canyon site or other company locations as needed.
