Sr. HR Manager, K&BWork Mode: Remote
Location: Remote - Kohler, WI - Remote role open to Wisconsin-based candidates, with an expectation of onsite presence at our Kohler WI site two days per week.
OpportunityThe Sr HR Manager leads the design and execution of talent and culture strategies that accelerate growth across the Kitchen & Bath (K&B) organization. In close partnership with the VP, HR - Kitchen & Bath, the Senior Human Resources Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the K&B HR Leadership Team and commercial leadership. The role owns HR leadership for the Professional Development Board Committee (PDC), shaping the development of Kohler family members and strengthening leadership pipelines. By partnering across HR and enterprise centers of excellence, this leader ensures consistent, enterprise-minded thinking and decision-making. This position engages across all aspects of the business, balancing customer and associate experience while aligning talent strategies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities HR Strategy - Partner with leadership to drive linkage between K&B and Enterprise talent strategies and focus on strategic talent management and talent development to ensure strategic workforce plans align with organizational requirements and capabilities.
- Partner on the creation and implementation of a Talent & Culture Strategy K&B, which attracts and retains key capabilities, and delivers an engaged associate group, who have a sense of belonging, while driving results through a culture of accountability and ownership.
- Partners with leaders to drive organizational change management and communications, ensuring that we demonstrate a global mindset in our delivery of any change, and we consider employee understanding and engagement through any change.
- Partner with HR leaders, business, and enterprise to develop robust talent management plans to identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps and develop specific programs to fill the identified gaps, and to develop high potential employees.
- Partners across the K&B businesses to ensure the HR strategy deployment is being leveraged, identify any best-in-class strengths that should be leveraged across K&B or gaps that need to be addressed to achieve the strategy.
Talent Development - Lead the talent review and succession process, and formulation of associate development plans for the top talent across K&B, identify critical positions and ensure succession strategies are in place for the positions. Recommend and implement developmental assignments for selected associates to ensure appropriate development of internal successors and nurturing of high potential employees.
- Lead analysis of annual processes and provide insight on business effectiveness utilizing the performance review process, effective usage of annual merit to link pay and performance and integrity of performance calibration.
- Is the daily partner with Kohler family members and ensuring their onboarding, development and ongoing leadership meets the needs of their individual development plans and career aspirations.
- Provides insights and next step recommendations for the Kohler family members for their internal success and succession.
- Act as a liaison between associates and leadership when appropriate.
Recruiting & Integration - For Confidential or K&B level roles, be a strategic partner with leaders and the talent acquisition function to ensure roles are scoped effectively, they meet the needs of the business plan, and the candidates identified ensure a strong talent pipeline for succession.
- Ensuring onboarding and integration strategies are being utilized across the organization that are aligned with the Enterprise onboarding/integration expectations and meet the needs of the talent within the organization.
- Leads and follows the recruitment and integration process for the Kohler family members aligned with the PDC guidelines and processes.
Skills/Requirements- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required
- Requires a minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- PHR certification is preferred.
- Candidates in the HRLT succession pipeline are strongly preferred given the close working relationship and regular partnership with the family.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
