Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced
Senior Technical Architect - Managed Services to work directly within enterprise clients, providing leadership, strategy, and governance for enterprise production support services across complex application ecosystems. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to both technology and business stakeholders, helping define and mature support operating models, service management processes, and operational best practices across the full application landscape.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise applications built on various technologies such as
.NET, Python, Databricks, Azure, and modern cloud platforms, with a track record of designing and implementing robust support frameworks. You will assess the client's current-state support capabilities, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish scalable operating models focused on reliability, stability, performance, and continuous service improvement. You will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.
This role requires a blend of architecture, operations leadership, consulting expertise, and stakeholder management. In addition to driving production support strategy and operational excellence, you will help the client adopt modern capabilities such as
AIOps, intelligent automation, predictive monitoring, and AI-enabled support practices to improve incident management, reduce operational risk, and enhance overall service delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities- Define and lead enterprise production support strategies across complex application landscapes.
- Architect and govern L1, L2, and L3 support operating models and service delivery frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise applications built on .NET, Python, Databricks, Azure, and related technologies.
- Establish and optimize incident, problem, change, release, and knowledge management processes.
- Design monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational intelligence frameworks.
- Lead major incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and service restoration activities.
- Implement AI-enabled support solutions, including AIOps, intelligent alert correlation, predictive analytics, automation, and self-healing capabilities.
- Collaborate with development, platform, cloud, and infrastructure teams to improve operational stability and performance.
- Define support readiness processes for new application deployments and platform releases.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
- Establish service-level objectives (SLOs), KPIs, operational dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Support client governance meetings and provide executive-level communication on service health, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Lead modernization efforts for support tooling, automation platforms, and operational governance models.
- Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams.
Qualifications- 10+ years of experience implementing, supporting and operating enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
- 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Support Architect, or Operations Leadership role.
- Strong experience with enterprise applications developed using .NET/C# and Python.
- Experience supporting data and analytics platforms leveraging Databricks and cloud-native data services.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure and cloud operations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes and production support frameworks.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing L1-L3 support organizations.
- Experience with application monitoring, observability, and operational tooling.
- Experience implementing AIOps, AI-enabled support capabilities, or intelligent operations frameworks.
- Strong understanding of application performance management, reliability engineering, and operational resilience.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks, scripting, and operational workflow orchestration.
- Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
- Proven ability to engage with clients and executive leadership teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Must be open to travel.
Preferred Skills and Education:- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $195,278.
