OverviewEdgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer to support a major national laboratory. This is a remote position and US citizenship is required per contract.
Responsibilities
- Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
- Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives.
- Works under limited direction; receives general instructions on new assignments. Work is evaluated upon completion.
- May provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Determines approach to solutions, plans schedule and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
- U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.
- A strong background in Java, specifically the Spring framework is required.
- High level knowledge with Angular and MySQL databases is desired.
- Must be comfortable and willing to carry out test driven development.
- Highly-motivated and able to work well under pressure
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of a specialized information technology (IT) field plus working knowledge of other related IT fields.
