What you will do

As a Senior FP&A Analyst you will play a critical role in supporting Mack Trucks financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance management processes. You will work closely with the Mack FP&A Manager, finance leadership and business stakeholders across the organization to deliver insightful analysis that supports strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial close and reporting activities by preparing detailed variance analyses and performance insights.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc financial reports, presentations and support material for leadership reviews and business meetings.
• Serve as a key finance partner in supporting Mack's 2030 strategy by translating strategic initiatives into financial plans, performance metrics, investment analyses, and executive reporting that enables informed leadership decision-making.
• Partner with other controllers and cross functional representatives within the organization.
• Take an active part in the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of periodic forecasts, annual business plans, and financial projections for all of Mack Trucks.
• Responsible for the Investment Process, including investment decision and payment template.
• Active involvement in projects, process improvement initiatives, internal controls, and governance activities as needed
• Leader for internal process and tool improvement initiatives.
• You will be our Hyperion Financial Planning and Essbase Super User, and will have overall responsibility for managing both systems.

• Strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analytical skills.
• Experience developing financial models and scenario analysis.
• Understanding of how financial performance links to strategic business objectives.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to translate data and numbers into storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning or similar reporting and planning tools preferred.

• Working knowledge of SAP or other similar accounting software systems.

• Hands on experience using Power Platform tools a plus.

• Experience dealing with multiple currencies and exchange rates preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Business Control, Finance, Accounting or related field.

• Prior experience with consolidations and financial reporting a plus.
• Manufacturing, automotive, or industrial business experience preferred.

For this position, the base pay is set at $83,500.00 - $103,100.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
