Sr. Financial Analyst | Bristol, IN (North)

Regular Employee | Salary Exempt | $85,000.00 - 110,000.00

What you'll do:

SUMMARY:

The SeniorFinancial Analyst position is responsible for supporting the finance departmentwith a broad range of financial planning including analyzing and reportingresults of financial data for company's respective business units and thecompany against plan, forecast, budgets, and trends to explain financialresults.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with budget center managers to develop and support their respective cost center expenses
  • Fixed asset management
  • Analyze financial data for business efficiencies and to verify accuracy
  • Assist in developing statistical and written reports for management
  • Prepare financial statements and related reports such as balance sheet, income statement, cash-flow, budgets, and variance analysis
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual balancing of books and monthly account reviews
  • Assist in the development of a financial plan and forecast
  • Review budget proposals and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification of proposed budgets
  • Support cost estimating for new and existing products and product options
  • Aid in the development of overhead and labor standards
  • Review, evaluate, and suggest accounting systems, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with special projects, as requested
  • Other tasks as assigned


What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience developing Power Bi Dashboards
  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, primarily in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of government procurement regulations that effect accounting systems
  • Working knowledge of forecasting, financial reports, data collection, data analysis, and evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization
  • Strong and consistent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
  • Innovative team player
  • Intermediate computer skills are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
