Job Summary

Compass Group North America is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Financial Analyst to support Foodbuy LLC. This role is integral to delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and owning the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for key clients.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and brings strong analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to operate independently, exercise sound professional judgment, and effectively partner across teams.

Primary Responsibilities
• Own and manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for key clients
• Execute monthly close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis
• Serve as primary point of contact for accounting processes
• Support business partners and team deliverables
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation
• Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by management

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or candidate preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools strongly preferred
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar)
• Experience working in a large, decentralized, or multi-unit organization
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities independently
• Experience delivering presentations to senior management and department customers
