Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the Smartsheet PO tracker daily to ensure prompt action and proper documentation
  • Review and approve purchase orders in myBuy within a 2-hour turnaround with accurate coding and routing
  • Track invoice statuses including on hold, pending approval, or disputed and follow up on delays
  • Review team expense reports daily, ensure accurate receipt coding, and send reminders for unsubmitted expenses
  • Manage the LAMPOR Outlook inbox to guarantee responses within 24 hours and proper site-specific categorization
  • Run, review, and reconcile weekly and monthly financial reports, including GL to PeopleSoft reconciliations and accrual compilations
  • Maintain and update internal trackers and reference guides while providing ad hoc support during team PTO and leadership requests

Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local is a hard services-led, tailored facility management solution. We self-perform hard services while partnering with best-in-class soft service providers to offer custom facility and project management solutions to our clients. About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Sr. Analyst, you'll apply advanced cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

***Hybrid role in Fremont 3 days onsite locations

What You'll Do:

Purchase Orders & Invoices

Monitor Smartsheet PO tracker daily to ensure no requests sit longer than 48 hours without action or proper notes

Review and approve POs in myBuy within a 2-hour turnaround whenever possible, ensuring accurate coding and routing

Track invoice statuses (on hold, pending approval/receipt, disputed) and follow up on any item sitting longer than 48 hours

Expense Reports & Team Support

Review team expense reports daily for accurate receipts and coding

Answer ad hoc questions and provide training as needed

Send monthly reminders for unsubmitted myWallet expenses

Inbox & Communication Management

Help manage the LAMPOR Outlook inbox to ensure responses within 24 hours and proper coding to site-specific categories

Reporting & Reconciliation

Run and review weekly cost review files and submit AP/EX reclasses by month-end deadlines

Perform monthly GL to PeopleSoft reconciliations (2nd week of the month)

Run monthly reports for vouchers on hold and unpaid but approved invoices, resolving system errors and follow-through issues

Compile accruals for CCOMM and review corporate GL monthly to determine necessary reclasses (e.g., FU, MO)

Tracking & Documentation

Maintain and update internal trackers, including the PO tracker and savings log

Ensure new Lam POs are added to trackers and run Taulia open PO reports as needed

Help update and create reference guides to support team consistency

Ad Hoc & Leadership Support

Step in during team PTO to process POs and invoices within a 24-hour turnaround

Support requests from leadership (Natalie or Syma), including reconciliations, metrics, vendor follow-up, and client inquiries

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Finance Analyst position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
