Job Description

As a Sr Facilities Management Specialist here at Honeywell, you will maintain a strong focus on supporting and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects of an organization's physical infrastructure and services. The critical role ensures that the facility's complex assets, including specialized systems for safety and security, operate efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with the long-term P3 Project Agreement, all regulatory requirements, and the high standards required for a healthcare environment.

In this role, you will impact the overall success of the business by ensuring that our facilities are operating effectively and efficiently, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers. Your expertise in facilities management will not only enhance the productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the overall success of the P3 contract and its deliverables.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with management of preventative maintenance and repair activities to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors, and our internal team of facilities professionals, including unionized trade staff, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Work with Facilities Manager to ensure contractual obligations and deliverables are met on time and within budget
  • Assist with budget management for facilities maintenance, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards.
  • Work with team to implement energy-saving and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments to maintain facility standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and senior management to understand facility needs and provide timely updates.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to facilities.
  • Consistent delivery of Exceptional Service Support solutions and innovation to customer.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance including knowledge of building systems, equipment, and facilities management best practices.
  • Ability to work on site, 5 days per week
  • Must be able to answer emergency calls as needed after hours/on weekend

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 in London, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
