Position Summary:
The position is responsible to provide technical expertise to support the maintenance and engineering lifecycle of a manufacturing facility and its associated equipment and systems. The position is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving & updating equipment systems and related processes. The candidate will perform in the capacity of equipment system steward; being both responsible and accountable for the system's continued function and reliability.

Specific Duties and Skills:- Have deep understanding of a facility as a compilation of many integrated systems.
- Takes ownership and accountability for assigned equipment and systems.
- Must understand and operate compliantly within Quality Management System, promptly reporting non-compliance issues.
- Act as equipment SME to create and update detailed operational procedures, work instructions, critical and recommended spare parts summaries, engineering specifications, design for equipment systems, facility impacts and change control, and other operations documentation and processes.
- Develops & proposes preventive measures to recurring issues with equipment system.
- Responsible to plan equipment and system repair and maintenance projects for execution, with various situational and contingency considerations.
- Provides SME input and oversight on construction and equipment improvement projects
- Accountable to compile and analyze data generated from equipment to support continuous improvement and environmental responsibility efforts
- Understands, tracks and manage financial both Capital and Operational budget and expense accounting for equipment systems as required.
- Has a deep understanding and ability to work in MMS to carry out tasks such as equipment on/offboarding, calibration, maintenance planning, and other lifecycle management principles.
- Daily operational support and other duties as needed or assigned
Education and Specific Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management or equivalent from accredited college or university preferred
- 5+ years of experience working with facilities and building equipment and systems, including controls.
- Experience working in the corporate regulated environment; medical device or pharma preferred.
- Experience with designing, engineering, building, commissioning, and validating facilities preferred.
- Experience with complex facility utilities and multi-compressor refrigeration units
- Experience with PLC controls and building and environmental management systems (BMS/EMS)
- Experience with hands on Facility MEPT design and trouble shooting
The estimated base salary range for the Sr Facilities Engineer role based in the United States of America is: $91,100 - $136,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. The range reflects long-term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
