Full Job Description
Senior Engineers, Software located in Bellevue, WA will build and maintain systems and databases to support T-Mobile Finance organization.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AZURE technologies.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
  • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week.
  • No additional national or international travel is anticipated.


Skill requirements:
  • (1) Writing complex SQL language on variety of relational database systems including but not limited to Teradata, SQL server, Oracle, and Snowflake;
  • (2) Building data warehouse and optimizing data pipeline, architectures, and data sets using cloud technologies and platforms;
  • (3) Developing applications and data solutions, practicing all steps in SDLC and Agile development concept;
  • (4) Writing SQL or Python program and varieties of scripting languages to manipulate, process, and extract value from data files or databases such as Teradata, Oracle and Snowflake;
  • (5) Performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement; and
  • (6) Leveraging cloud technology like Azure and utilizing services like ADB, ADLS, and ADF to build data pipelines and store data in data mart/data warehouse in order to support business operations such as reporting and analytic works.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
