Job DescriptionPrimary Function of PositionThe Senior Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the Advanced Product Development engineering team in the assembly, documentation, and testing of new product concepts. This person is directly responsible for assembling prototypes and providing feedback to the engineering and manufacturing teams. In addition, the person will assist with maintaining tooling, fixtures, and a safe, clean, and well-organized engineering lab space.

Essential Job DutiesServe as primary support for assembling complex mechanical-electrical prototypes
- Track build issues and document manufacturing processes
- Provide assembly process feedback to the engineering team
- Train, mentor support technicians
- Organize and maintain inventory in an R&D environment
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized engineering lab
QualificationsRequired Skills, Experience, Education and Training- Minimum 7 years of engineering technician or equivalent work experience
- High school GED or Associate degree preferred
- Experience working with electrical-mechanical components, wiring and assemblies
- Experience working with machines, hand and power tools. Prototyping experience preferred.
- A firm understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and Intuitive quality system and processes
- Self starter with good communication, problem solving and documentation skills
