Role Purpose

The Senior Staff Engineer, Teamcenter Platform Administration & Support leads the administration, support, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM platform. This hands-on role partners with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to maintain a stable, secure, and scalable environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter Administration & Support
  • Administer Teamcenter and Active Workspace across development, QA, and production.
  • Configure BMIDE, Teamcenter preferences, workflows, lifecycle states, queries, and business rules.
  • Manage users, roles, access, security, FMS, FSC, and Dispatcher.
  • Lead upgrades, patches, refreshes, maintenance, and production cutovers.


Application & Technical Support
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Teamcenter and related engineering applications.
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, server, and database issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Manage support tickets and coordinate with Siemens, technical teams, developers, and business partners.


Data, Integration & Deployment
  • Support data governance, migration, archival, integrity, and remediation.
  • Support CAD and enterprise integrations, including ERP, MES, and SAP.
  • Support deployments, testing, upgrades, cutovers, monitoring, and health checks.


User Enablement & Continuous Improvement
  • Create SOPs, and training materials and train users on Teamcenter and PLM processes.
  • Analyze support trends and recommend system, process, and service improvements.
  • Support digital thread, PLM roadmap, and transformation initiatives.


Experiences/Education - Required*

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years supporting enterprise PLM solutions.
  • 7+ years of hands-on Siemens Teamcenter administration and application support.
  • Strong experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace, FMS/FSC/Dispatcher administration, and Teamcenter upgrades and cutovers.
  • Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.


Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Siemens Teamcenter certification.
  • Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
  • Experience with ERP/MES integrations and Oracle databases, analytics, or reporting tools.
  • Exposure to regulated environments, such as ITAR or GMP.
  • Knowledge of digital thread and model-based enterprise concepts.
  • Experience with ITIL-based support and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

The range for this position is $129,143.00 - $177,572.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
