Senior MEMS Characterization and Metrology Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to develop and deploy custom MEMS test systems for engineering characterization and manufacturing test of SiTime MEMS resonators.
Responsibilities:- Exploration and prototyping novel test methodologies for high-precision timing parameter measurements.
- Hands-on hardware development and system validation of custom MEMS test systems for engineering and mass production.
- Development of software for test execution and automation, data acquisition, system calibration, and data analysis required for high-precision timing devices.
- Documentation of MEMS test system architecture, design, software, etc.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams for system qualification and release-to-production.
- Optimization of system performance focusing on throughput, precision, and reliability.
- Drive and/or support projects and other company-driven objectives, as needed
Qualifications & Requirements : - MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. PhD is preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.
- Proven track record of driving technical projects and executing on aggressive schedules in cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with analog electronics, board-level design and debug, electrical characterization of RF devices, and deep knowledge of associated test equipment.
- Demonstrated programming experience in C#, familiarity with LabView and MATLAB is a plus.
- Strong ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiment results
- Previous experience with MEMS design, test and/or characterization is preferred.

The annual base salary range for this role is $138,800 - $190,850. The final offer is determined by factors such as location, experience, education, and training.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to the achievement of innovation goals-reflecting our commitment to recognizing meaningful impact. We also offer equity grants, providing a meaningful opportunity to share in the company's future growth and success.
