The Opportunity:The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and government-regulated environments. This role serves as the technical lead for complex network initiatives, providing advanced engineering expertise while ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network services.
The Senior Network Engineer leads the planning and execution of strategic infrastructure projects, develops enterprise network standards, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business and cybersecurity objectives. This position is expected to independently lead initiatives from design through implementation while maintaining operational excellence.

- Experience: 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with leadership of complex infrastructure projects, cloud networking, and regulated environments.

How you will create an impact:Network Architecture & Engineering- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, cloud, and data center networking solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and recommend improvements to increase network performance, resiliency, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain enterprise network standards, design documentation, and operational procedures. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, and operational best practices.
Project Leadership- Serve as the technical lead for complex infrastructure projects and network modernization initiatives.
- Lead planning, implementation, testing, migration, and post-implementation support.
- Coordinate activities with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Server, IAM, Site Services, and business stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party implementation activities.
- Provide technical guidance during planning, budgeting, and business case development.
Network Operations- Provide Level 3/4 support for complex networking issues.
- Lead root cause analysis for major incidents.
- Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, automation, and lifecycle management.
- Develop operational documentation and runbooks.
- Participate in on-call support and critical incident response.
Security & Compliance- Design and maintain secure network architectures supporting corporate and government environments.
- Implement Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Cisco Umbrella, MFA, and NAC technologies.
- Support compliance with CMMC, NIST, CIS Controls, and FIPS where applicable.
- Support internal and external audits.
Technical Leadership- Mentor Network Engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Review designs, implementation plans, and change requests.
- Promote engineering standards and best practices.
- Lead knowledge sharing and documentation.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
