Full Job Description
Sr. Engineer, Controls. Holland, MI. Lead design, installation, programming, and maintenance of vendor specific PLC automation and controls systems for battery manufacturing. Create, monitor, and modify logic for program design, simulation and testing, start-up, and troubleshooting. Analyze equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance. Create and track FDC and improve equipment production. Document procedures including troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Train engineers, technicians, operators. Requires 7 years of experience in: working in a manufacturing or automotive engineering environment, communicating/interfacing with servo motors and induction motors (Servo Drive, Inverter), Mitsubishi PLCs, Ladder Diagram Language, and CCLINK network design & diagnostics with PLC. Also requires 5 years of experience in: control setup and commissioning for automated productions lines, Ethernet/Profinet/Profibus network design & diagnostics with PLC, and Siemens PLCs.
