• Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for telecommunications towers, monopoles, small cell structures, foundations, supports, and modifications.
• Independently evaluate and apply established engineering methods, procedures, and design criteria while developing practical and innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Evaluate existing structures, loading changes, site conditions, and structural capacity.
• Design reinforcements, modifications, connections, foundations, and other structural solutions.
• Review, approve, sign, and seal engineering designs, calculations, reports, and drawings, as applicable.
• Review engineering work and provide technical direction and mentoring to other engineers.
• Develop practical, cost-effective solutions that balance structural requirements, manufacturability, constructability, and customer needs.
• Support tower modification, reinforcement, erection, installation, and field activities.
• Lead moderate to complex engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Partner with manufacturing and operations to resolve fabrication, assembly, quality, and productivity issues.
• Support new product development, testing programs, engineering tools, and design automation.
• Apply FEA and thermal analysis where appropriate.
• Develop engineering standards, procedures, calculation tools, standard details, and training materials.
