Title:

Sr Earned Value Management Practitioner

KBR is seeking a Senior Earned Value Management (EVM) practitioner with internal and joint surveillance experience to join our business operations research group in Chantilly, VA.  This exciting and rewarding position will be directly supporting our IC Government customer(s) by primarily performing evaluation and providing performance/compliance assessment of many of their major/top-tier programs. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Clearance: TS/ SCI Clearance with polygraph.  US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with 11+ years of related experience - OR - a Master's degree from an accredited university with 9+ years of related experience.
  • Strong experience in applications of EVMS, Program Controls, and Cost/Schedule Integration processes and tools.
  • Experience with baseline planning and PMB development and change management control.
  • Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews.
  • Experience in aspects of scope management and work authorization, program scheduling processes and analysis, baseline change management, and variance analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Proven experience working both independently and collaborating within a teaming structure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions that are based on data.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with IPMR/IPMDAR requirements, and DCMA surveillance processes, including data driven surveillance.
  • Working knowledge of Over Target Baselines (OTB) and Over Targe Schedule (OTS)
  • Experience with internal surveillance processes and practices, DCMA surveillance or other joint customer/contractor surveillance processes.
  • Thorough knowledge of Government EVM reporting & compliance.
  • Understanding of Agile based development and its correlation to EVMS/IPM practice.
  • Experience with Integrated Program Framework:  SOO, SOW, WBS and related dictionaries, OBS, RAM, IMP, IMS
  • Working knowledge and experience using related Cost tools such as Cobra or CostView or related.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of supporting tools such as Empower a Strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of other supporting tools such as WinSight, Milestones Professional, WBS Expert, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Scheduling tool(s) such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan, ProjectView or related.
  • Experience in training and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and related.

Basic Compensation:

$124,700 - $187,000

This range is for the Virginia area only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance
