The Sr. Network Development Executive will represent and advance IHCS' interests in the provider market across Arizona and Colorado as the preferred partner through evaluation of provider viability and strategic fit, strong negotiation skills, and execution of provider agreement strategies. This position is responsible for identifying, selecting, and recruiting home health, home infusion, and durable medical equipment (DME) providers to join the IHCS network.
What will you be doing:- Must reside in AZ/CO
- Manages strategic market development plan by recruiting targeted providers in designated markets and geographic areas.
- Develops and implements negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations specific to (Home Health, DME, and IV) in conjunction with Executive Director, Market Development.
- Leads and participates in development activities throughout both new and existing markets, including tracking and reporting of recruitment activities, progress and barriers to a successful, on time go live.
- Advances IHCS in the provider market through a positive provider experience by negotiating contracts with providers to ensure appropriate size, composition and geographic distribution to meet all health plan and regulatory standards including quality and reimbursement strategies.
- Manages territories with a business perspective that can evaluate provider performance from various perspectives.
- Exhibits critical thinking skills that solve problems with a logical and analytical discipline.
- Meets the organizations recruitment and strategic initiative goals.
- Demonstrates an intimate knowledge of how providers operate and how plan policies may influence or be impacted by this structure and understanding of various reimbursement methodologies and how it relates to cost.
- Demonstrates knowledge of providers in assigned geographic area with a detailed understanding of the relationships between Health plans, Providers and Referral sources in local market.
- Ensures that all provider contractual relationships comply with regulatory requirements, IHCS and Department Policies and Procedures.
- Works closely with key Departments to ensure successful implementation of Provider Agreements from initiation to approval, including provider-credentialing applications.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information regarding key contact, clinical, and other key staff at each provider location.
- Perform other assigned tasks as necessary or required.
