Job Title: Sr .Net Developer
Clearance Required: Public Trust - Federal Client requires US Citizenship
Work Location: Remote

Alpha Omega is seeking a highly skilled Sr .Net Developer for a Remote position on one of our prime Federal projects in Arlington, VA.

Ideal candidate has previous experience working with federal and large commercial clients, financial, insurance and banking with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, client interaction, customer satisfaction, and a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Mission Critical complex large scale application development and maintenance.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for public facing applications.
  • Design and develop quick prototypes.
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems.
  • Provider development support on-premises application.
  • Participate on an agile O/M team.
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or similar degree.


Experience/Skills:

  • Federal agency requires US Citizenship.
  • Proficient communication, facilitation, mediation, and verbal and written communication skills to be demonstrated upon interview.
  • Client-facing skills are required.
  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft legacy environment, ASP (Classic/Native), VB.NET, DLLs, COM+.
  • Must have experience with Azure cloud environment, IIS Server on VMs.
  • Experience with Active Directory, ADFS and Azure Entra.
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Must have experience with SQL Server.
  • Must have Experience with Stored Procedures and SSIS Packages.
  • Possess high attention to detail with ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Experience in solving complex business issues- strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full stack development experience
  • Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
  • Experience with Java and Spring boot is plus
  • Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.


Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
