The Senior Director, Talent Management will lead enterprise strategies in the areas of talent management, leadership development, and/or organizational design and effectiveness. At the heart of this role is ownership of TIAA's annual Executive Operating Committee (EOC) Summit - a signature leadership event for our top leaders - as well as additional leadership development events, executive dinners, and quarterly meetings for this same cohort. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating initiatives that strengthen TIAA's leadership pipeline, optimize organizational structures, and enhance overall workforce effectiveness. Partnering with People Team and line of business leaders and associates, this role will align initiatives with business objectives to support TIAA's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Design and execute TIAA's annual EOC Summit, a signature leadership event for the organization's top leaders, owning the experience from strategic vision and content design through polished, seamless on-site execution.
- Design and execute one or more additional leadership development events annually for the top leaders, ensuring each experience is compelling, relevant, and aligned to TIAA's strategic priorities.
- Facilitate executive dinners and quarterly meetings that bring TIAA's leaders together, fostering connection, alignment, and shared accountability across the group.
- Develop and implement enterprise strategies that support leadership development, succession planning, and workforce effectiveness in alignment with business goals.
- Design and implement leadership development strategies and programming that energize TIAA's leaders, ensure a strong leadership pipeline, and build a highly skilled workforce.
- Enable organizational design and effectiveness initiatives to ensure the business operates effectively and efficiently as it pursues critical business objectives.
- Facilitate the success of enterprise talent management approaches such as succession planning, performance management, executive assessment, and human capital planning.
- Lead programs such as executive coaching and career development to enhance leadership effectiveness at all levels of the organization.
- Partner with senior People Team and line of business leaders to drive strategic initiatives that enhance associates' performance, career mobility, and retention.
- Champion TIAA's values, embedding them into talent management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development strategies.
- Facilitate change management, ensuring leader and associate adoption.
- Leverage data analytics and workforce insights to track progress, measure the success of initiatives, and inform continuous improvement.
- Actively seek out trends, best practices, and emerging technology to continuously innovate TIAA's talent management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development strategies.
Educational Requirements- University (Degree) Preferred

Base Pay Range: $147,000/yr - $193,000/yr
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
