Overview

Ready to lead health plan configuration and solution design, driving the full lifecycle of plan build and cross-functional execution across a complex TPA environment?

 

Personify Health is looking for a Senior Director of Plan Configuration and Documentation to lead the teams responsible for building health plans in our systems and designing enterprise-level solutions for our clients. This is a senior leadership role for someone who has spent their career in third-party administration and is ready to own the full lifecycle of plan build, solution architecture, and cross-functional project execution at scale. 

You'll lead a team of Directors and their functions, drive plan configuration excellence across the TPA, and serve as a key partner to internal stakeholders on initiatives that require rigor and follow-through. 

 

What You'll Actually Do

 

Team Leadership 

  • Lead and develop the teams of overseeing Plan Configuration and Solution Architecture functions 
  • Set clear goals, remove barriers, and build a high-performing, accountable team culture 
  • Translate business objectives into operational priorities for your teams 
  • Foster close collaboration between Plan Configuration and Solution Architecture, ensuring alignment on client needs, technical design, and plan build execution 

 

Plan Configuration 

  • Provide strategic oversight of plan build operations ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery 
  • Own quality and consistency of configuration standards across the organization 
  • Drive continuous improvement across both functions, identifying process gaps and building solutions 

 

Enterprise Solution Architecture 

  • Partner closely with Plan Configuration to ensure solution designs are buildable, scalable, and delivered on time 
  • Support pre- and post-sale solutioning efforts, working with Account Management and Implementation teams to translate complex client requirements into viable plan designs 
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex or non-standard configurations that require architectural guidance 
  • Build repeatable frameworks and design standards that improve consistency and reduce downstream rework 

 

Project Management 

  • Own and manage the operational project portfolio for the TPA side of the business 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align timelines, resources, and deliverables 
  • Build and maintain operational project frameworks that create visibility and accountability 

What You Bring to Our Team

 

  • 10+ years of experience in TPA operations, health plan administration, or a directly related field 
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (PMP, CEBS) a plus 
  • Proven leadership experience managing Director-level teams across multiple functions 
  • Deep knowledge of health plan build processes, benefits administration, and enterprise client solutioning 
  • Experience leading or closely partnering with solution architecture or implementation design functions 
  • Strong project management skills with experience owning and delivering operational initiatives 
  • Clear, direct communicator who can work across technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift

Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $150,000-$165,000, depending on location, skills, and experience. You're eligible for our full benefits package starting day one.
