Full Job Description
The Senior Director Finance for Stock Yards works directly with the Stock Yards President and Leadership Team to identify opportunities and develop innovative strategies aimed at driving incremental business improvements, growth and profitability across the Stock Yards organization. Additionally, the role oversees financial reporting, report and business case modeling, The Senior Director serves as fiduciary owner of the Stock Yards Profit & Loss views, forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long Range Plan (LRP). This role partners with other Stock Yards Finance, operating leaders, and functional team members to develop facility level forecasting and budgeting for 16 manufacturing facilities for the $1.2B revenue stream.
This position has been segmented as Remote Anywhere meaning the work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories.
Responsibilities:
3 Identifies opportunities and develops/implements innovative, customized strategies aimed at driving profitability, incremental business growth and overall improvement across the Stock Yards organization.
3 Acts as a key thought partner and subject matter expert to the President, Stock Yards and the Stock Yards Leadership team, asserting influence and instilling buy-in to further strategic initiatives and processes.
3 Oversees all aspects of P&L and Financial reporting for the Stock Yards organization, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant outputs and insightful analytics. This includes monthly, period and annual reporting with key messaging to Executive Leadership Team, Stock Yards Leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
3 Plays a key role in developing and implementing strategy including accurately building business cases to support capital expenditure requests for facility and new equipment to support business growth and direction.
3 Performs trending analysis to support Stock Yards President and Senior Leadership to drive business profitability and key metrics.
3 Other duties as assigned by manager.

Minimum Qualifications:
3 10 years of progressive experience in Finance or business-related management
3 3 years of people management / leadership experience
3 Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and influence senior leaders and key stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
3 Demonstrated success operating in ambiguous situations and driving results through sound judgment and adaptability.
3 Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence decision-making, and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.

Education:
3 Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting

This role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus and a long-term-incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
$145,000 - $225,000
