Full Job Description
The Sr. Director, Corporate Marketing & Communications is a senior functional leader responsible for defining and executing Flexential's corporate marketing strategy to accelerate growth, strengthen market leadership, increase brand awareness, support revenue objectives, and enhance corporate reputation. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role owns strategy, governance, performance, and continuous improvement across corporate marketing disciplines and serves as a key advisor to executive leadership.

This role defines functional strategy, establishes standards used across the organization, and leads high-impact initiatives that influence business-unit performance. The position balances long-term strategic planning with near-term execution and operates with considerable autonomy in complex business environments.

Decision-Making Authority
  • Defines functional strategy, prioritizes investments, establishes operating frameworks and marketing standards, allocates resources within approved budgets, and leads cross-functional programs
  • Escalates enterprise strategy, major financial commitments, M&A-related decisions, and significant legal or reputational risks

Scope and Impact
  • Accountable for department and business-unit results
  • Decisions influence growth, pipeline development, market perception, competitive positioning, and executive communications
  • Operates primarily within a 1-3 year planning horizon

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required
  • 12+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience
  • 5+ years leading teams, managers, or matrixed organizations
  • Experience in data center, cloud, managed services, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, or enterprise technology required
  • Demonstrated success leading brand, communications, social media, and growth-oriented marketing programs

Span of Control & Organizational Scope
  • Leads a major corporate marketing function spanning multiple marketing disciplines
  • Provides leadership for managers, senior professionals, agencies, and matrixed teams
  • Influences decisions across the business and executive leadership
  • Manages significant marketing budgets, vendor relationships, technology investments, and strategic programs
  • Establishes frameworks and standards adopted across the organization
  • Accountable for business-unit outcomes including brand equity, pipeline contribution, market positioning, and corporate reputation

Base Pay Range: The annual salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $200,000 - $225,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate's experience, location, and qualifications.

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.

Hiring Location: Our preference is to hire candidates based in or near Collegeville, PA, Denver, CO, or Atlanta, GA, where our teams are located. However, we remain open to remote candidates whose experience and qualifications are an exceptional match for the role.
