Job Summary:
Provides strategic and operational leadership for DPR's architectural design function across business units. Defines vision, direction, and priorities for architectural services to advance integration, innovation, and design excellence across the enterprise. Partners with senior executives to align architectural strategy with company goals, operational delivery, and digital transformation initiatives. Champions enterprise-wide integration of DPR Self-Perform Work (SPW) and prefabrication products into architectural design strategy, guiding use of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) to establish a scalable, continuous model and data environment that supports digitally enabled delivery and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishes strategic goals for DPR's architectural practice and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.
Oversees enterprise-wide architectural standards, processes, and resource planning.
Partners with leaders across design, preconstruction, and construction to integrate design strategy with operational execution.
Leads development of architectural capabilities, tools, and digital design systems.
Represents DPR's architectural function in strategic planning, market engagement, and partnership initiatives.
Oversees leadership development, succession planning, and capability growth across architecture teams.
Promotes DPR's design innovation and sustainability vision within the organization and industry.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
25+ years of experience in architectural design, management, or leadership required, including enterprise or multi-region oversight.
Certifications and Licenses:
Registered Architect (RA) license required.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification preferred.
Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) certification or similar credential preferred.
