Job Title: Sr. Designer - UGG Footwear

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Design

Location: Goleta, CA - Hybrid

The Role

As a Sr. Designer for UGG Footwear, you'll lead the design and creation of women's fashion footwear, aligning with UGG's brand vision and seasonal initiatives. You'll develop concepts, sketches, CADs, and colorways, balancing innovation, commercial appeal, and brand authenticity. Your work will span seasonal development, cross-functional collaboration, trend research, and inspiration support, all while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Your Impact
  • Design women's fashion footwear products in line with UGG's creative direction and seasonal goals
  • Develop original, trend-relevant product designs, concepts, sketches, CADs, and colorways
  • Translate seasonal briefs and creative direction into compelling footwear products
  • Create technical sketches, artwork, merchandise boards, and supporting materials for development and presentation
  • Adhere to seasonal Critical Path calendar deadlines for timely product execution
  • Partner with Product and Development teams to select materials and execute designs within pricing targets
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings with internal teams and external partners, including agendas, samples, and materials
  • Collaborate with development teams to expedite tech/spec packages and product approvals
  • Monitor global fashion, footwear, and consumer market trends to inform product direction
  • Interpret trend insights into commercially viable and globally appealing products
  • Attend seasonal kickoff meetings and participate in assigned design travel
  • Assist with travel coordination and inspiration planning activities
  • Gather and apply market, cultural, and trend inspiration from travel experiences
  • Coordinate with Product and Development Coordinators on sample ordering, tracking, delivery, and organization
  • Maintain team sample libraries for accessibility, reference, and confidentiality
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment


Who You Are
