Job Description:

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Sr. Demand Planner that is responsible for maintaining an accurate Production, Sales, and Inventory Plan to support company and customer expectations within acceptable inventory targets.

Scope

This position will define inventory targets and purchasing needs to support company sales while exceeding service level and turns targets. Demand Planners work closely with multiple associates across the supply chain to ensure expectations are clearly defined, including:

  • Sales managers, product development teams, supervisor and customer to capture best collaborative forecast

  • Factory teams to ensure expectations are clearly defined and that goods ship on time while managing inventory within budget requirements.

  • Purchasing to ensure factory purchase orders are aligned to timing needs

  • Customers to align retail sales expectations, assist with the containerization of direct flow goods, and address opportunities

  • Distribution to make sure orders are shipping timely and event expectations are communicated.

Primary Responsibilities

Demand Planners maintain a PSI (Production, Sales, and Inventory Plan), improve processes, exceed company service level expectations, and define opportunities to reduce costs.

  • Define inventory needs to support customer replenishment and event execution

  • Obtain, analyze and interpret supply chain relevant data from multiple sources

  • Define factory orders to ensure an adequate supply of finished product for required forecasted demand

  • Coordinate receiving priorities and order exceptions with Distribution

  • Maintain reports critical to business function, including financial forecast, inventory projections, and service performance

  • Schedule regular meetings and report out all potential supply chain failures and opportunities

  • Capture failures, root cause, corrective action, and document accountability

  • Address customer emergencies and manage through to resolve

  • Assist with Customer Compliancy Disputes

  • Build relationships throughout supply chain to recognize and address process improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Operations, or related field preferred OR equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 years  of Supply Chain experience

  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite applications with advanced Excel skills

  • Demonstrate statistical, analytical and mathematical aptitude
