We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (Sr DBA) to join our dynamic team.
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our databases, ensuring high availability and performance. You will play a crucial role in database design, migration, and support, contributing to the overall success of our data management strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain SQL databases in Azure environment.
- Optimize database performance and implement security measures.
- Perform database migrations and backups as necessary.
- Develop and execute database restore and recovery procedures.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions.
- Support database-related projects and provide technical guidance.
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on SQL and Azure.
- Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and migration.
- Familiarity with data integration tools like Data Factory and SSIS is a plus.
- Knowledge of networking, software support, and on-prem database management.
- Experience with reporting tools and T-SQL development is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
