Job Title: Sr Data Solutions Analyst

Pay Range: $93,700.00 - $95,000.00 Annually

WHO YOU ARE:
You are a strategic and data-driven analytics professional with deep expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence, and operational analytics. You excel at transforming complex data into actionable insights, leveraging advanced analytical techniques, automation, and visualization tools to improve efficiency, support decision-making, and enhance the member experience. You are a trusted partner who collaborates across teams, thinks critically about business challenges, and proactively uncovers opportunities for improvement while championing data governance, accuracy, and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Demonstrated mastery of big data and KPI's while holding oneself and others accountable to Golden 1 principles of member commitment to service excellence
  • Attained reliability, efficiency, independence, and trustworthiness of analytics output that no longer requires deliberate managerial oversight.
  • Augment core data exploration skillset with additional techniques such as data programming languages, mining strategies, modeling approaches, or machine learning processes in furtherance of Golden 1 data culture and in line with the broader data industry
  • Utilizes technical skillset to not just build and create, but constantly automate and streamline via utilization of Power BI, R scripting, Power Automate, or other processes.
  • Producing holistic single-department productivity metrics and capacity models to monitor and forecast people and processes in support of our ongoing commitment to operational efficiency and member experience.
  • Earns access to, and gains an understanding of, additional source data repositories and domain knowledge as needed to supplement that which is housed in our Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Supports and develops analytical and/or statistical models and scenario-building as needed to support effective business decision-making.
  • Builds and nurtures cross-functional relationships and thinks critically about people, process, and technology to identify areas for streamlining and improvement.
  • Effectively employs warehouse data validation concepts not just between domains such as General Ledger and Retail data, but also within one system to bolster analytical credibility.
  • Identifies and solves for not only the business matter at hand, but also teases out unasked-for quantitative patterns and data relationships to further business intelligence or apply to a broader
  • Have innate understanding of Golden 1 warehousing concepts and schema design to efficiently write, maintain, and deploy custom T-SQL scripts primarily, but not exclusively, via Microsoft SSMS
  • Develop and curate custom data sets for inspired and poignant Power BI data visualizations that are effective at every level of the organization.
  • Embody and promote integrity of the Golden 1 data governance strategy, partner with our IT and Data Warehouse teams to provide research and support at each level of the ETL process.

QUALIFICIATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with a data-centric curriculum (Math, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.) preferred
  • 5+ years (MS 3-6) years of hands-on experience and/or demonstrable attitude/aptitude/technical equivalent required
