Sr. Data Analyst
Job DescriptionResponsibilities- Dashboard Design & Development: Design, develop, test and maintain dynamic and intuitive Power BI dashboards that provide critical insights into training operations performance and effectiveness.
- Data Integration & Management: Integrate diverse data sources, including Spotfire and Smartsheet, into unified analytics platforms to create a comprehensive view of training data.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Apply data visualization, statistical analysis, and data interpretation skills to identify trends, evaluate workforce deployment models, and assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Contribute to identifying performance trends and areas for improvement in training delivery and internal customer experiences.
- Strategic Support: Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and decision-making within the training department.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work cross-functionally with various teams to understand data needs, gather requirements, and present analytical findings clearly and concisely.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities.
Qualifications- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualifying bachelor's degree.
- Technical Proficiency:Power BI: Strong proficiency in designing, developing, and publishing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Data Visualization: Demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling, and effective data visualizations.
- Database Management: Understanding of database concepts and experience with data querying (e.g., SQL).
- Data Integration: Experience or familiarity with integrating data from various sources (e.g., Spotfire, Smartsheet).
- Statistical Analysis: Solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Problem-Solving: Strong strategic problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Soft Skills:Project Management: Basic understanding or interest in project management principles.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Curiosity & Learning: Eagerness to apply academic knowledge to practical business scenarios and continuously learn new technologies and methodologies.
