Responsibilities

Summary: (Remote/Virtual Role)

Leads audience strategy, segmentation, campaign execution, and performance analysis across customer and prospect communications. Responsible for identifying target audiences, translating business requirements into scalable segmentation strategies, and delivering data-driven marketing campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, outbound, digital, and other channels. Serves as a subject matter expert in customer data, audience management, and campaign performance, leveraging analytical insights to optimize engagement, retention, and revenue. Operates independently while collaborating across marketing, analytics, technology, and business teams to execute complex initiatives. While primarily focused on audience strategy, segmentation, and data management, this role must maintain broad CRM campaign knowledge and provide support across campaign planning, production, execution, and measurement as business priorities require.

Responsibilities:
  • Own audience segmentation strategy and execution across prospect and member communications.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain complex SQL-based audience selections and campaign targeting logic.
  • Analyze customer, campaign, and behavioral data to identify opportunities for audience growth, engagement, retention, and revenue optimization.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable audience solutions while ensuring data quality and segmentation accuracy.
  • Partner with analytics, technology, and business stakeholders to investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain audience frameworks, governance standards, and documentation to support campaign scalability and operational excellence.
  • Independently manage multiple priorities while proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions.
  • Support end-to-end campaign execution, including audience creation, QA, testing, deployment support, and performance measurement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
  • Advanced SQL skills (5+ years) with demonstrated experience building complex audience selections, data validation processes, and performance analyses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience developing segmentation strategies based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, demographics, engagement, and business objectives.
  • Ability to independently manage projects and make data-driven recommendations with limited oversight.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, customer data models, and data quality best practices.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and utilizing insights to improve future audience targeting and marketing outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced experience with customer segmentation, audience strategy, and campaign targeting.
  • Experience with SQL, Snowflake, or similar data warehouse technologies.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and email template structure to support campaign production, QA, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with customer lifecycle marketing, personalization, and behavioral targeting.
  • Knowledge of campaign measurement, A/B testing, and marketing analytics.

Other/State Specific

This role pays a base salary between $100,000 and $120,000 per annum, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
