Qualifications

• BA degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing accounting roles
• Expertise in manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, and standard setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Energetic, detail-oriented, and willing to engage hands-on with tasks
• Ability to travel up to 25% for plant visits

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant operations to understand manufacturing costs
• Analyze budget, forecast, and historical data for trends and opportunities
• Oversee the standard-setting process for costs
• Improve mid-month reporting methods
• Perform month-end financial analysis with variance explanations
• Develop month-end reporting packages for management presentations
• Provide financial forecasts and actionable insights based on analysis
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure P&L accuracy
• Assist with annual budgeting and risk identification
• Review production order variances for root cause analysis
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with plant management
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions
• Maintain financial controls per company policy
