Job Summary

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for drafting account-specific documents (contract templates, etc) as well as reviewing non-standard document language requests, submitting Department of Insurance regulatory filings, and sourcing/reviewing contracts for audit, legal, and compliance requirements to ensure accuracy and consistency. The position will also support day-to-day operations of the team and elevate concerns to management. The Senior Contract Specialist will act as a liaison between staff, management, and key stakeholders as well as drafting and editing desk level procedures (DLPs) and workflow documents.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or 4 years work experience in a position involving independent judgment and initiative.
• 1 year experience and skills in drafting standard or customized contracts or booklet documents with no guidance
• PC experience including Microsoft Office.
• Experience in deadline driven environment and completing tasks on time.
• Judgment and problem resolution skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills to interface with staff from other departments, draft document language and handle issue resolution

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Background in network management and provider contracting - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Experience developing corporate project plans and/or project management.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range
$55,900.00 - $123,500.00
