Full Job Description
StoneTurn is seeking a qualified Senior Consultant to join our Economic Litigation Consulting Practice.

Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for advanced economic analyses and managing portions of client engagements. You will add value to our team by having previous experience in economic consulting within the litigation environment. This position requires you to be a person with strong interpersonal, communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and perform economic consulting relating to expert reports within complex litigation matters to include labor and employment disputes (wage and hour, discrimination), consumer class actions and statistical sampling matters within the healthcare industry.
  • Work with Management to execute on priorities related to client engagements including drafting background sections of expert reports and performing financial analysis, creating exhibits, and attending meetings with clients.
  • Accountable for consistent, high-quality work product prepared on a timely basis.
  • Execute multiple priorities and projects daily, delegating responsibilities as appropriate to engagement team members at Consultant level.
  • Ensure all quality control processes are followed and are maintained on engagements; focused on the creation of work product.
  • Attend client and internal team meetings to understand client objectives and requirements, leading to the execution of well formulated work product.
  • Regularly communicate with engagement team to ensure appropriate expectations are set and are communicated with clients to ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Participate in marketing and business development initiatives developing and maintaining client relationships through the performance of high-quality work product.
  • Mentor and develop Consultants by serving as a coach providing timely performance feedback/training and conducting performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive, efficient, and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications/ Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or statistics. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years total experience within economic consulting and/or labor economics disputes
  • Advanced proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, Stata, or SAS) for complex econometric modeling and large-scale data manipulation
  • Experience developing, managing, and maintaining large databases, applying best practices in quality control
  • Solid understanding of statistical theory (inference, hypothesis testing, sampling, variance estimation) and its practical application
  • Professional demeanor with excellent oral communication skills and proficient in technical writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and perform technical projects, manage client expectations and relationships.
  • Excellent prioritization skills.
  • Commitment to exemplary client service delivery
  • Supervisory experience a plus.
