Sr. Configuration Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage modern tools like ServiceNow, and make a measurable impact in a high-visibility environment for the FAA's ITIPSS I&O program. This position is responsible play a critical part in supporting enterprise-level IT change and configuration management for a federal customer-ensuring stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across systems
.Change & Configuration Management- Lead and support enterprise IT change and configuration management activities
- Process and manage change requests using ServiceNow and SharePoint (KSN forms)
- Guide change requests through established governance and approval workflows
- Partner with federal leadership to support and enhance automated change management tools
Process Improvement & Documentation- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend practical, scalable improvements
- Maintain accurate data, reporting, and documentation for all change activities
- Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Incident Management & Support- Monitor and resolve incidents through ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, OR
• 10+ years of relevant Change Management experience
Required Technical Skills & Competencies- Experience with IT Change and Configuration Management processes
- Strong ability to analyze workflows and improve processes
- Proven experience working with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and tracking
- Strong written communication skills, including documentation and reporting
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Self-starter who takes ownership and drives results
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments (35,000+ users)
- Familiarity working with federal or government clients
- Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups
Work Location and SchedulePrimary Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Monday through Friday, core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time

Compensation: $115K
