Full Job Description
Location: Middletown, NY Salary: $92,500 Annually Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM (40hrs) OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: This candidate needs to be a strong leader with a passion for providing quality mental health care and a talent for developing and supporting clinical staff. This role is crucial to the success of our clinical team and requires a professional who is not only a skilled clinician but also an effective manager and analyst. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: - Clinical and Administrative Supervision: Provide direct clinical supervision to both full-time and fee-for-service (FFS) clinicians, offering guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care. You'll also be responsible for managing clinician caseloads to ensure proper distribution and workload balance. - Performance and Data Analysis: You will analyze staff productivity and review key metrics to help improve efficiency. A core part of this role is running and correcting reports, such as identifying and resolving overlapping appointments. - CCBHC Coordination and Support: Coordinate and assist with the delivery of multiple services within our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, ensuring seamless integration of care. - Staff Management and Development: You will be involved in various aspects of staff management, including reviewing candidate applications and participating in job placement interviews. You'll be responsible for clinician assignments, co-facilitating staff meetings, and leading the onboarding process for new team members. - Client Management and Reporting: Review and update our agency's list of the top 50 high-utilizer clients, developing strategies to better meet their needs. You will also assist with data analytics to support the clinical team's decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. - Administrative Support: Help with the administrative aspects of the team, including assisting with the submission of Fee-for-Service timesheets. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: - Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. - Preferred full licensure, active state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, etc.). - Proven experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role. - Strong analytical skills with experience in reviewing and interpreting clinical and productivity data. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Familiarity with CCBHC standards and operations is a plus. - Familiarity with fiscal management principles, including budgeting and financial analysis - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to ensure compliance - Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a diverse team - Computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work - Previous experience working with adolescents and families and be comfortable in both individual and group settings - Previous experience working with adults in Mental Health field, preferred PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to perform the job's essential functions successfully.
